Uncovered Chimney Problems

American Chimney has been operating and servicing tens of thousands of homes since 1997. In the last 20 years we have come across hundreds of what we call and think are “scammers” and we have documented the improperly installed systems in many homes. Unfortunately in this industry, there aren't many ways to regulate and distinguish the good companies from the bad. Most people do not even realize they were ripped off until they are properly educated about their system. Our training and certifcations have enabled us to uncover and document THOUSANDS of improperly installed appliances. Often times, ENTIRE systems are improperly installed, are hazardous to the homeowner and enviroment and most likely not to the (IRC) International Residential Building code. More often than not, we find that homeowners have spent a good deal of money to redo their systems because basic instructions weren’t followed during installation. It is our job to find these improperly installed units, and do our best to bring them back to safe, usable units for the homeowner.
